Having two grown children, and spending over 25 years in management within the Insurance/banking industry, I felt that it was time for a change. I was looking for a way to share my passion for the arts, and at the same time, get more involved in my community. I feel that KidzArt is the perfect solution!
Sandra Washington, Program Director
Sandra has a B.A. in Education-Humanities Composite from Hope College. She was most recently a high school educator at Chicago Christian High School. For several years, Sandra served as an K-8 Art educator for Southwest Chicago Christian Schools, directing school plays, and coaching cheerleading and volleyball.
KidzArt Instructors
Your KidzArt class will be taught by one of our extremely talented Certified Instructors (CIs).
- Victoria Gozdecki has a B.A. in Graphic Design from Robert Morris College. Victoria has designed Company logos, business cards, and flyers along with web sites. She is a substitute elementary school teacher in the Burbank school district.
- Lauren Hastings has a B.A. in Family & Consumer Sciences/Family Services from Eastern University. Art and drawing has always been a hobby for Lauren. She is also a substitute elementary school teacher in the Evergreen and Oak Lawn school districts.
- Gael (Bunny) Heppner has a A.A.S. in counseling from Triton College and B.A. pending in the Governors Program at Governors state University. Gael has taught classes at Gymboree and in Oak Lawn Park District programs.
- Nicole Methven has a B.A. in Art History from Roosevelt University. She has extensive experience in organizing and preparing art work for shipping to various gallery shows in Paris, France. She has developed materials for art shows and gallery openings.
